Putting On An Event Has Never Been Easier

How Does The Program Work?

  • Qualify for the Retire101 Seminars program (annuity production requirements apply)*

  • Producer secures seminar location and plans presentation 4+ weeks out

  • Divergent Advisors will create and maintain the registration site, digital ad campaign, confirmation email, email and text reminders, and confirmation calls

  • Producer sets up venue on event day (tables, AV, etc.), greets attendees, and presents on their desired topic

  • Producer shares attendee list with Divergent Advisors

  • Divergent Advisors sends thank-you emails and provides full registration list (those who attended and DID NOT attend) along with their contact information for the producer to continue following up with

What type of support is included for hosting an event through Retire101?

Our basic level of support includes filling the room via digital advertising, creating and maintaining a landing page/registration site, event confirmation email, reminder texts and emails, confirmation phone calls, and list of all registrants (not just attendees).

How many people should I expect at an event?

We have averaged over 50+ registrants and 15+ attendees per event hosted. The target audience for these events are age 45+ and in the upper half of income parameters.

*Please note that weather, traffic, and other obstacles outside of our control may play a factor in attendance for the event.

What topics are we limited to?

Our topics are focused on financial education and retirement planning. The presentations currently available are on the topics of Social Security, Retirement Risks, and Estate Planning. We have digital ads and landing pages focused on these topics that lead to event registrations.

What specifically do I need to do for the event?

You are responsible for booking the room / venue and deciding on your presentation, and having any on-site support and event items that you may want. On the day of the event, all you will need to do is show up an hour prior to the event to set up the room, greet attendees and have them sign in, present on your chosen topic, and then send Divergent Advisors your sign in sheets so that the thank you emails will go out accordingly.

Why is there a maximum number of campaigns that I can do each year through the program?

Given the way the program is marketed and advertised, there is a cap on the number of campaigns we will promote to ensure the maximum effectiveness of each campaign.
